Rapid Response USA responded to the disaster created by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.  Our response teams cleaned mud, debris and hazmat from severely damaged retail stores.  We also assisted in managing the collection of household hazardous waste and damaged electronics from multiple Louisiana parishes.  Rapid Response USA personnel also oversaw the collection of hundreds of soil samples.  In addition, our team members participated in monitoring air samples, booms in the canals and the testing of tankers of drinking water being delivered into New Orleans.
